Hello, I'm Sharin!

 

I'm a junior reporter for The Times. I have worked on several desks, including The Sunday Times Style Magazine, Arts & Culture and Stories of Our Times podcast. I currently work with the London desk.

I am the founder and the co-chair of  News UK Muslim Network, a community for our Muslim members. We recently hosted an Eid celebration at News UK yesterday to mark the end of Ramadan. We were also joined by the Editor of The Times, Tony Gallagher and the Head of Diversity Shelley Bishton.

 

I also volunteer for Chameli, a Bangladeshi Domestic Violence Support Group for Women. I joined the team as a secretary and IT web designer in December 2019. 

 

I completed my BA Honours degree in Fashion Journalism at UCA.
